Awful television!

While watching the all-famous and some what degrading "American Idol"-that show is seriously going downhill....its not even funny anymore, just plain sad. Anyway, there was a commercial for what looks like the worst game show ever.

"The Moment of Truth"
Apparently this show is all about people being asked personal questions in front of loved ones or strangers. They are hooked up to a polygraph and asked to tell the truth!!!! So not only do they lie or tell the honest truth in front of someone that they probably don't want to know, but are pretty much humiliated in front of millions of viewers. But they do this all to win the big bucks...obviously!

  • Questions like "Will you still be married to your husband in five years?" and the husband is sitting right there! How could both of them willingly walk onto that show and do that ON TELEVISION!
  • Some overweight lady is asking a guy "Do you hate fat people?" HOW AWKWARD!!!!
  • A man is asked "Would you cheat on your wife if you knew you wouldn't get caught?" while his wife sits by. How embarassing for her.
  • Some blonde woman is asked "Do you really care about the children in Africa?" Now if she answered that truthfully, not really caring about them....I'm guessing America doesn't care how selfish she is. But still.....reality check for her.
And obviously they answer all of these questions for $$$$$ money. Why else. Of course game shows--hell, the world--revolves around money. But how much does your dignity mean to you?

That show just seems so unethical. WHY? WHY? WHY!!!???? Makes me so mad at tv executives.....the type of shows that they put on television and i won't be surprised at the number of viewers that will watch.....coz people like that kinda shit.
